Understanding Bernedoodle Generations

F1 Bernedoodle

50% Bernese / 50% Poodle

First generation cross. Gorgeous classic wavy coat, rich tri-color pattern, exceptionally calm and loyal temperament. Moderate shedding resistance.

Best for: Families wanting the classic Bernese Mountain Dog look with reduced shedding.

25% Bernese / 75% Poodle

Bred by crossing an F1 Bernedoodle with a Poodle sire. Ultra-curly or fleece coat that is virtually 100% non-shedding and hypoallergenic.

Best for: Moderate-to-severe dog allergy sufferers and low-maintenance vacuum homes.

Micro & Mini Bernedoodle

18 - 38 lbs Compact Size

Bred using Moyen or Toy Poodle sires to produce a teddy bear compact dog suitable for townhomes, apartments, or easier travel.

Best for: Dallas high-rise residents or families wanting a smaller companion dog.
